The Marriage System in War of the Immortals allows you and another player to take your online friendship to the next level. This is the ultimate sign of devotion between 2 characters. In order to fulfill this commitment you will need to meet the following requirements.
The game allows only characters of opposite gender to marry as long as the 2 characters have 10k+ friendship with each other and have completed the love quest. Characters must be on 2 different accounts in order to get married.
Before any marriage a couple must get engaged. In order to do this, the couple needs to be in a party by themselves, and speak with Temoross in Atlantis. You will be required to pay Coins to get engaged in order to receive a Seed of Love item. With this item you will need to speak with Temoross again who will now allow you to get married.
The Luxury wedding can be obtained through the Marketplace using ZEN. The Wedding Pack includes a set of wedding rings, wedding fashions, items that can be used during the ceremony, and a Garden of Gentleness Reservation Book. You can speak with Dygoria to reserve a time slot for the wedding ceremony in the Garden of Gentleness and set a password on it (numbers only) if you wish the ceremony to be private. You will need to speak with Jebediah in the garden to begin the ceremony. The Ceremony lasts only 30 minutes and guests will be able to eat food as well as release balloons during the celebration. This will increase the marriage's bliss EXP. Doing stuff in the Luxury Wedding ceremony also rewards Joy Fragments. These can be exchanged with the vendor in the garden for special items.
All couples that get married will receive a special title: (Player's) Wife or (Player's) Husband, special marriage skills, and will be able to view their marriage info through the Friends Interface.
Higher Bliss levels unlock more marriage skills. Married couples can still host wedding ceremonies to further increase their bliss level. Bliss EXP will increase every 1 minute the couple is in a party together.
Marriage EXP increases by 1 for every day the couple is married. Marriage EXP has no functional purpose except act as an indicator of how long the couple has been married.
Divorce can be mutual or unilateral. In order to receive a mutual divorce, both characters have to be present at Temoross and will cost 100,000 Coins to dissolve the wedding. A unilateral divorce only requires one of the characters but will cost 200,000 Coins. At this point the marriage and bliss level will be reset, even if they get remarried.
